SLED charges 17-year-old from Chester County with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Zane Redman Roberts, 17, with Assault & Battery of a High & Aggravated Nature on Monday, February 26, 2024.
The SLED investigation was requested by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office(CCSO).
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Roberts was already in custody at the York County Detention Center following his previous arrest by the CCSO. Roberts has since been booked into the Chester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
