The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Tyrone James, 50, with Kidnapping, Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor - 3rd Degree and Assault with Intent to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct - 3rd Degree on Friday, October 24, 2025. The Blackville Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
James was booked into the Aiken County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitors Office.
