SLED Charges Anderson County Woman with Insurance Fraud and Forgery

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Timya Rai Davis, 21, with Presenting a False Claim for Insurance Payment – Value More than $2,000 but Less Than $10,000 and Forgery – Value Less Than $10,000 on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Davis was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
