SLED charges Barnwell County man with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Aubrey Priester, Jr., 42, with Murder, and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime on Sunday, August 4, 2024. The deceased was identified as Juston Erving, 33, by the Bamberg County Coroner.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Priester was booked into the Bamberg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
