SLED Charges Beaufort County Man with 14 Counts of Forgery

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged James Patrick Thomas Jr., 19, with 14 counts of Forgery – No Dollar Amount Involved on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. The Clemson Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Thomas Jr. was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 13th Circuit Court Solicitor’s Office.
