SLED Charges Beaufort County Man with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Edgar Kangaroo Jansons, 75, with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – 3rd Degree on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The Port Royal Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Jansons was booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
