SLED charges Berkeley County man with two counts of Unlawful Conduct Towards a Child

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Caleb Jochen Carter, 30, with two counts of Unlawfully Placing a Child at Risk of or Causing Harm or Willfully Abandoning the Child on Friday, August 23, 2024.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Carter was booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
