SLED Charges Dorchester County Man with Alcohol License Violations

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Robert Devaine Ancrum, 41, with Failure to Secure a Required Beer or Wine Sale Permit, Unlawful Storage or Possession of Alcoholic Liquors in Place of Business - 1st Offense, and Unlawful Sale of Alcoholic Liquors - 1st Offense, on Thursday, August 18, 2025. The Dorchester County Business License and Hospitality Tax Department requested the SLED investigation.

Ancrum was booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
