SLED charges Florence County man with obtaining goods under false pretenses

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Olin Lawrence Altman Jr., 42, with Obtaining Goods Under False Pretenses value $10,000 or more on Monday, January 13, 2025. The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Altman was booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
