SLED charges former convenience store employee with lottery fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Cuvaious Nujorie Foster, 21 with Attempting to Influence a Game by Coercion, Tampering and Intent to Defraud on Thursday, March 13, 2025. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Foster was booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center.
This case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
