SLED Charges Former Convenience Store Employee with Lottery Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Charles Ray Seawright, 47, with two counts of Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The South Carolina Education Lottery requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Seawright was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
