SLED Charges Former Oconee County Narcotics Agent with Misconduct In Office

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Derek Pace, 46, with Misconduct In Office on Friday, April 17, 2026. The SLED investigation was requested by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Pace was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
