SLED charges former SCDMV clerk with Embezzlement of Public Funds

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Shayla Singleton-Drayton, 44, with Embezzlement of Public Funds on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Singleton-Drayton was booked into the Dorchester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
