The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Darren Lee McCain, 30, with Misconduct in Office on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
McCain was booked into the Sumter County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 3rd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
The SLED investigation was requested by the Sumter Police Department.
