SLED Charges Greenville County Man with Kidnapping, Trafficking in Persons, and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Kobe Maleek Bailey, 20, with Kidnapping, Trafficking in Persons, and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime

on Friday, May 8, 2026.

Details can be found in the attached warrants. 

Bailey was served at the Greenville County Detention Center, where he remains detained on unrelated charges.

The case will be prosecuted by the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. 

SLED was assisted by the Greenville Police Department.
