SLED charges Hampton County man with Assault & Battery 2nd degree

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Jared Dayne Long, 22, with Assault & Battery 2nd degree on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The SLED investigation was requested by the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Long was booked into the Hampton County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
