SLED charges Hampton County man with Assault Battery and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Dontae Tyrell Collins, 33, with Assault & Battery 2nd degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – first offense on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The SLED investigation was requested by the Hampton Police Department.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Collins was booked into the Hampton County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
