SLED charges man with sexual exploitation of a minor

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Brandon Kyle Brown, 39, with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor - First Degree on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation. The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, and the Aiken Department of Public Safety assisted in the investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Brown was booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center.
This case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
