The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged William Jason Crowe, 50, with Perjury – False Testimony Under Oath on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office requested the SLED investigation.

Crowe was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
