SLED Charges Ridgeland Correctional Institution Inmate with Assault with Intent to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct and Kidnapping

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Darious Lamont Moore, 45, with Assault with Intent to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct - First Degree and Kidnapping on Monday, September 15, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Corrections Office of the Inspector General requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Moore remains incarcerated.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
