SLED Charges Three Greenwood County Men with Forgery and Identity Theft

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged three men with Forgery and Identity Fraud to Obtain Employment on Friday, June 27, 2025. Selvin Romairo Alfaro-Perez, 24, was charged with two counts of Forgery - no dollar amount and two counts of Identity Fraud to Obtain Employment. Alfonso Telez-Tlatelpa, 57, was charged with Forgery - no dollar amount and Identity Fraud to Obtain Employment, and Rudy Udiel Alfaro-Morales, 43, was charged with two counts of Forgery. The Abbeville County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.

Alfaro-Perez, Telez-Tlatelpa, and Alfaro-Morales were booked into the Abbeville County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
