SLED Charges Williamsburg County Man with Unlawful Games and Betting, Possession off Video Gaming Devices

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Glen Edward Williams, 39, with Unlawful Games and Betting, and six counts of Unlawful Possession of Slot, Video, Vending Machine or Gambling Device on Monday, June 8, 2026. The Andrews Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Williams was booked into the Georgetown County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the SLED investigation.
