SLED Welcomes 2026 Spring Interns

SLED’s 2026 Spring Interns gathered on Wednesday, January 7, to begin their five-month internship program.

 

The group made up of college and university students visited VICE Technical Services and the Fusion Center. Later in the day the interns toured the Training Unit, Counter Terrorism - Tactical Operations Services, including SLED’S Tracking Team and the Aviation Unit. They finished at the SLED Forensic Services Laboratory, visiting every floor, concluding at the Crime Scene Investigations Unit. 

 

Interns will spend the next few months learning about different career paths in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice Information Services, Law Enforcement, and Investigations.
