SLED Employees from the Low Country & Midlands Regions took the “plunge” in February to support Special Olympics South Carolina.
The volunteers met at Lake Murrey on Saturday, February 14 and at the Isle of Palms on Saturday, February 28 to participate in the Polar Plunge, which is part of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign to support Special Olympics events throughout the state.
Proceeds raised during the Polar Plunge will help to provide year-round sports training and competition for South Carolina Special Olympics athletes.
