SLED Charges Allendale County Woman with Lottery Fraud and Breach of Trust

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Mary Elizabeth Devoe, 61, with Breach of Trust and Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. SLED also charged Devoe with Intent to Defraud, Counterfeit Game Tickets on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
The SLED investigation was requested by the South Carolina Education Lottery.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Devoe was booked into the Allendale County Detention Center, and then the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th and the 5th Circuit Solicitor’s Offices.
