SLED Charges Barnwell County Man with Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Attempted Murder

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Antonio Makel O’Neal, 21, with Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Attempted Murder on Thursday, September 3, 2026. The Williston Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
O’Neal was booked into the Barnwell County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
