SLED Charges Berkeley County Man with Unlawful Possession of Alcoholic Liquors and Failure to Secure Required Sale Permit

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Alfonso Darrell Ravenell, 63, with Unlawful Possession of Alcoholic Liquors in Place of Business - 1st Offense, and Failure to Secure a Required Beer or Wine Sale Permit on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The Lake City Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Ravenell was booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
