SLED charges Cherokee County man with use of a fireman while under the influence of alcohol

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Brandon Quentez Seawright, 22, with Use of a Firearm While Under the Influence of Alcohol on February 9, 2025. SLED was requested to investigate by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a division of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Seawright was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
