SLED charges Chester County man with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Micheal Andre Kendrick, 32, with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
On Monday, March 17, 2025, the Chester Police Department requested SLED investigate a fatal shooting. The victim was identified as Bryan Jawann Feaster, 37, by the Chester County Coroner’s Office. Kendrick left Chester County and was arrested on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, by SLED in Rock Hill, SC. Additional assistance was provided by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office and the Rock Hill Police Department.

Kendrick was booked into the Chester County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 6th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
