SLED Charges Colleton County Man with Unlawfully Placing a Child at Risk of Harm

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Garrett Scott Biering, 31, with Unlawfully Placing a Child at Risk of Harm on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Biering was booked into the Colleton County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 14th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
