SLED Charges Darlington County Man with Breach of Peace of a High and Aggravated Nature

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Zayne Daniel Smith, 22, with Breach of Peace of a High and Aggravated Nature on Friday, August 7, 2026. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Smith was booked into the Darlington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 4th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
