The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Lauren Ashley Thrower, 32, with Fraudulent Application for a South Carolina Driver’s License - 1st offense on Friday, February 20, 2026. The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles requested the SLED investigation.

Thrower was booked into the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston County.
