SLED charges former Anderson police officer with two counts of misconduct in office, assault and battery 1st degree, and assault and battery 2nd degree

Agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Brantley Keith Creel, 35, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, with two counts of Misconduct in Office, Assault and Battery 1st degree, and Assault and Battery 2nd degree. SLED was requested to investigate by the Anderson City Police Department.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Creel was booked at the Anderson County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
