SLED Charges Former Hampton Police Officer with Misconduct in Office

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Brandy Alexis Robinson, 28, with Misconduct in Office on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Robinson was booked into the Hampton County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the Public Integrity Unit.
The Public Integrity Unit is a collaboration between the 14th and 1st Circuit Solicitor's Offices. It consists of senior-level attorneys and investigators, who work with law enforcement agencies to review officer involved shootings and other use of force cases within their circuits, as well as alleged public corruption.
