SLED Charges Former Spartanburg Community College Employee with Computer Crimes

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Reaj Islam, 52, with the Computer Crime Act - Value Exceeds $10,000 - 1st Degree on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Spartanburg Community College requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Islam was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
