SLED Charges Former Spartanburg Police Officer with Criminal Sexual Conduct

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Ahmad Tyreek Cheeks, 26, with Criminal Sexual Conduct - 3rd Degree on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Cheeks was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
