SLED Charges Former Wagener Fire Department Chief and Former Town Employee with Breach of Trust

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Joseph Mark Redd, 66, with Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent - Value Greater Than $2,000 but Less Than $10,000 and Misconduct in Office on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
SLED also charged David Mark Watson, 52, with Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent - Value $10,000 or More on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Details for both can be found in the attached warrants.
Redd and Watson were booked into the Aiken County Detention Center.
Both cases will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
