SLED Charges Horry County 17-Year-Old with Acts of Terrorism

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Daniel Fox Fischer, 17, with Threatening or Conspiring to Threaten Real or Personal Property using a Destructive Device and Possessing or Using a Weapon of Mass Destruction for an Act of Terrorism on Monday, June 9, 2025. The Conway Police Department requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Fischer was booked into the J. Reuben Long County Detention Center’s Juvenile Facility in Horry County.
The case will be prosecuted by the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
