SLED Charges Laurens County Man with Identity Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Adekalie Turay, 35, with Identity Fraud on Thursday, October 2, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Turay was booked into the Laurens County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 8th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
