SLED Charges Lexington County Man with Impersonating a SLED Agent

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged David Stuckey, 77, with two counts of Impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer on Thursday, July 24, 2025. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrants.
Stuckey was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
