SLED charges Oconee County man with impersonating a lawyer, practicing law without a license, and forgery

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Nathan Lee Chambers, 30, with Misrepresentation of being a lawyer to solicit business, obtain anything of value, or provide legal advice – 1st offense, Unauthorized Practice of Law, and Forgery on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Details can be found in the attached warrants.

Chambers was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

The SLED investigation was requested by the 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
