SLED Charges Suspended Town of Latta Parks and Recreation Director with Embezzlement of Public Funds

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Timothy Carroll Bourgoin, Jr., 38, with Embezzlement of Public Funds - Value $10,000 or More on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The Town of Latta requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Bourgoin, Jr. was booked into the Dillon County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the 4th Circuit Solicitor's Office.
