SLED Charges Williamsburg County Man with Insurance Fraud

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Keaston Keiwan Keels, 34, with Presenting a False Claim for an Insurance Payment - value more than $2,000 but less than $10,000 on Monday, June 16, 2025. The South Carolina Department of Insurance requested the SLED investigation.
Details can be found in the attached warrant.
Keels was booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
