SLED investigating after woman found injured in Jasper County near Corner Lake Landing

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was requested by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, April 8, 2024, to investigate after a woman was found injured on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in Jasper County. The woman was transported to the hospital for treatment. SLED was first requested to assist the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation on April 3, 2024. SLED’s investigation is active and ongoing.
Anyone with information, including surveillance video around South Carolina Highway 3, should email tips@sled.sc.gov or call 803-413-3626. SLED is looking specifically for any video of vehicles from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, along Browning Gate Road, Heritage Road, Mill Pond Road, Possum Corner Road, and/or Corner Lake Road in Hampton and Jasper Counties.
